Full of the Holy Spirit

In Acts 6 it describes Stephen as a man full of the Holy Spirit. It seems that different people are "more" full of the Holy Spirit than others. At least by reading this passage. I wonder to myself if God just chose some to be more full that others, or if it is a result of seeking God. Was Stephen just more diligent in seeking God. I guess this is an age old question . . . but I wonder.

  1. Maybe the the language of Stephen being 'full' of the Holy Spirit is just a good model to describe Stephen and as you hypothesized, implies his diligence in seeking God? I guess that forces me to beg the question (to myself mostly), "What does it mean to be full (or half-full) of the Holy Spirit?" Still, a tough question, and I appreciate your honesty and questions, Jon!
