What are you giving your life to?

What are you giving your life to? Is it worth it?

These are two questions that ring in my head as I am about to start reading my next book. Steve Pringle gave me a book recently that I am very excited to reading . . . It's called "Good News about Injustice." I don't really know what it is about, or how it will change me, but as I have been studying the Kingdom of God and the Gospel, I have realized how central the issue of justice is to the kingdom of God.

I am again reminded of Micah 6:8 "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

Now that is a description of the Christian life!

I am off to grieve with a mother in the hospital who was just recently told she would lose her baby boy within 2 days of him being born. Pray for her . . . her name is Kimberly
