Can we really do the will of God if we don't know God. Sure we can do good things, but I guess in this context (and I could be wrong) I see the will of God being to repent and join the kingdom of God which is a revolution try to reconcile the world back to God through love and goodness.
I don't think you can do that without knowing Jesus. You have nothing to point people to when you do show love. And part of God's will/gospel is missing.
Why do we so often make it so difficult?
