Why do we so often make it so difficult?
Maybe because we don't actaully want to do what Jesus said?
But wouldn't that statement include some non-Christians in the family because they do the will of God?
Can we really do the will of God if we don't know God. Sure we can do good things, but I guess in this context (and I could be wrong) I see the will of God being to repent and join the kingdom of God which is a revolution try to reconcile the world back to God through love and goodness.
I don't think you can do that without knowing Jesus. You have nothing to point people to when you do show love. And part of God's will/gospel is missing.
