The Gospel . . . a Candle . . . or a Forest Fire
Well I just got better from being sick, so I have been somewhat absent from my blog recently. I am feeling much better now.
As I think of the nature of God's Kingdom and the Gospel, and read Acts 9, I remember the power of the Gospel to change a life. Here Saul, the man who had given his life to killing and imprisioning christians, met God, and not only became a Christian, but he changed his name, and started giving his life to preaching the Gospel even though it put his life in danger.
God wants to change your life, and give you a new name, a new identity.
It is exciting for me. In our church it seems like people's lives are being changed. Maybe they have known God for a long time, but the spark of the gospel, and the kingdom of God is just starting to ignite. I know that this is definately happening in my life.

Um, that would be definitely, Jon.
Thanks for the tip. I finally figured out today how to use the spell checker. It seems silly, but I never noticed that when I hit spell check, my pop up blocker was blocking the application. Hopefulling in the future you will notice better spelling coming from my blog.
Thank you blog spell checker! (Justin?)
Hopefully in the future, Jon.
